SEND
The academy follows the national Code of Practice to assist us in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN). We keep an SEN register to help us ensure that children are receiving an appropriate level of support. We work on the principle of early intervention, believing that the sooner we can provide additional support for a child, the greater the chance of success. If we believe your child has special educational needs, we will ensure that you are kept fully informed. In particular, you will be invited to regular review meetings, to keep up-to-date with your child’s progress.
Our SEN co-ordinators are Mrs Kerry (EYFS and KS1) and Mrs Nikou (KS2).
