School Meals

School meals – children in reception and key stage one

All children in reception, year 1 and year 2 are entitled to a free school meal. We hope as many children as possible take up this offer.

School meals – children in key stage two

School meals are available at a cost of £11.00 per week (£2.20 per day). Dinner money should be paid at the start of each week. Please ask for an application form if you think you may be eligible for free school meals.

We also provide facilities for children who wish to bring a packed lunch. Children should bring their packed lunch to school with them in the morning. We are not able to “deliver” packed lunches that are brought in later in the day.

Ordering your child’s meal

All meals are ordered online. Please speak to our office staff for help with this service.

Snacks

The academy is committed to a policy of Healthy Eating, and our arrangements for snacks reflect this.

Children in the foundation stage are provided with a piece of fruit and a drink of milk each day. This is free of charge. No other food or drink should be brought into the academy.

Children in years 1 and 2 are provided with a piece of fruit each day. Again, this is free of charge. No other food or drink should be brought into the academy, apart from a plastic bottle of still water.

Children in years 3-6 may bring a healthy snack such as fruit for morning break. Please don’t send drinks in to the academy apart from a plastic bottle of still water.
